My Grandad by Chloe I remember when you lived far away, A lot of time spent in the car, I remember BBQ's in the garden Planes in the sky going fast Crayons on the table Puzzles on the floor An how you'd always find us sweeties When we turned up at the door I remember your visits An I would often brush your hair I'm sure you even fell asleep You seemed so happy there I sent you lots of kisses While we were in Dubai We bought you some presents But now you'll never see Cause we'd saved them for up Christmas With love to you from me You had to go to hospital An stay there on your own So I sent you in my softest bear To stay and cuddle you I saw you that Friday Do you remember? I held your hand I gave you lots of kisses just like I planned I wanted to give you cuddles An lay up on the bed But mummy said I shouldn't and I had to mind your head I've been looking after Sandy She looks really sad I think she wonders where you've gone An misses her dad Daddy came to us that Sunday An said you'd had to go You'd passed away to somewhere That I'm not allowed to go I made you another card It said please come back soon But mummy said we can't be with you Your up high near the moon Do you know much I miss you? Do you miss me? It's not the same without you I don't think it ever will be I won't forget you Don't you forget me Love mummy's little princess Chloe
