I thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new....
I thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too....
I think of you in silence,
I still often speak your name.....
We leave a chair at Christmas,
Yet it’s never been the same!
I’m sure you’re up there walking,
With all those gone before...
I’m sure that Florrie’s with you,
Probably Sandy too?
One thing was for certain,
They always adored you.
The world has gone a little mad,
For once I’m glad you’re not here to see...
